For my March Journal Quilt. I really wanted to hand stitch and bead the entire thing - but I simply ran out of time and I need so much more practice. Thankfully, I had some lovely trims to use. Some of them from a new (to me) needle craft shop here. The owner has some kits and classes in crazy quilting, some day maybe I can take a class, that would be so much fun. The mermaid is a heat transfer onto muslin, the only hand stitching is in the upper right segment. The charm is handmade, Hilery taught me how to make them and I taught my mom. Now we are all three hooked on them!
