Biting Off More Than I Can Chew

For my February Journal Quilt (FabricInAlteredArt), I want to try something completely different than anything I've done before. This is the "pattern" that I've made using the technique Ghost Layers and Color Washes, from the book by the same name. It required two tracing paper sketches, a base layer of geometric shapes and a ghost layer of hand sketched fish. The third layer is the color wash - which shows up in the final pattern as the green and blue areas. The "L", "M", and "D" indicate color values for the fabric I'll use. It is SURE a good thing I have all month to finish this baby! I think I'll need every bit of it. AND, I have another journal quilt to make, quilties for a swap and........... Oh, My.........
